Project Execution Techniques

ABSTRACT

This workshop is dedicated to best practices in project execution and controlling processes. Project concepts and terminologies lay the groundwork for stakeholder identification and product scope definition so that high level deliverables and stakeholders can be determined. An expectations management system begins with scope, schedule and cost baselines. Deliverables and roles converge into a role and responsibility matrix. A communications management plan is designed and participants practice presenting a ‘get to the point’ status to various audiences. Integration management best practices are used to address change request. Participants assess impacts and develop options for presentation to the sponsor. Finally, the change request is approved and implementation steps are developed.
